Differences in how leaders and employees view organizational changes: Lessons from an international multicultural context

The research aims to provide actionable insights a Dubai-based digital payment company following leadership-driven organizational transformation. Semi-structured interviews with executives and staff were supplemented by observations field notes. study found that foreign employees experienced confusion due lack of clear communication or information. Hierarchical work environments legacy problems hindered employee change. Fear distrust prevented from voicing their concerns. Employees shared similar opinions on the environment culture. Leaders did not place enough importance early worker involvement, communication, information flow, which vision evaluation employees’ conduct. Earlier discussion resolution these issues may narrow gap between CEO employees.
